Volunteer

If you want to be an advocate of play experiences for all, there are many ways to volunteer.

  • You may wish to help expand play experiences across our community becoming a volunteer at public events, or assisting us in setting up a corporate training experience.
  • At the Reusable Resources Center in West Melbourne, there is always much to be accomplished—from organizing incoming materials and helping visitors, to organizing and conducting pickups at local businesses to assisting with Play Workshops and Teacher or Parent Training Opportunities.

Literally “make” new friends with reusable resources.
  • You may see the value of more variety and abundant multiples in materials and want to bring materials from your business to us, creating an ongoing partnership in providing such valuable treasures, while doing your part to keep these reusable resources out of landfills.
  • You may wish to invite us to speak to your group or organization, about the value of play and its power to positively impact our children, education and educators.
  • You may assist in acquiring special shipments for arrival at the Center in West Melbourne of materials we know our teachers, parents and children need here.
  • Or, you might wish to help us pack, send and afford to share Play Kits for startups, helping expand the knowledge of the power of play to other communities.
  • You might provide professional services, such as helping us enhance our Virtual Play Experiences series.
  • You may be an expert in play and want to contribute your expertise and experience to our Virtual Play Experiences series or play training sessions.

You may be a member of the media who can help us tell our story.

Local art festivals and other community events are great places for children to experience the fun of reusable materials and the value of self-active play.

We welcome all of you, and we look forward to helping you grow your own knowledge of the power of play through personal experience.
