Donate

Please consider donating to The Institute for Self Active Education or the sharing materials ‘model’ that is the Reusable Resources Adventure Center (RRAC) located in West Melbourne. There are so many ways to participate (please also look at the Volunteer page for additional ideas for support).

Primarily, we ask for materials donations from business and industry, as these donations directly affect play, and we see it every day.

We proudly tell visitors the amazing stories of how this material or that material made its way to us.

We like to talk about long-time supporters of the Institute for Self Active Education and its goals.

Art Hoelke, Knight’s Armament, Titusville, Florida, has been an advocate of the Reusable Resources Adventure Center for many years, and Art is always willing to speak to others about the power of play and his continuing commitment to providing materials donations from his company to help replenish resources that are so valuably utilized.

Collins Aerospace, Melbourne, Florida, is a strong supporting organization, an advocate for enhancing the education of young children, regularly donating materials to the RRAC.

These corporate leaders understand that providing ways for our children to investigate, create, design and build solutions through self-active play with open-ended materials are learning the skills of the future, from problem solving to communication to innovation.

The Institute for Self Active Education is focused on the work of advocating play and play training and bringing it home to our children, our teachers and parents.
